1. About these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Jetra Express web platforms, APIs, WhatsApp dispatch channels, and freight delivery services. By booking a pickup or creating an account, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Your account
- You must provide accurate contact and address information.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials and OTP verification codes secure.
- Enterprise and Business memberships must be initiated by an authorized corporate representative.
3. Booking and pickups
- Bookings can be submitted via web app, dispatch dashboard, or WhatsApp concierge.
- Pickup windows are estimated; riders confirm exact arrival upon assignment.
- Each parcel is tagged with a unique barcode identifier upon courier collection.
4. Packing and prohibited items
Customers are responsible for securely packaging items for transit. The following items are strictly prohibited:
- Hazardous, combustible, or illegal substances under Nigerian law.
- Unpackaged fragile glassware or unsealed perishable goods without express prior booking.
- Unregistered currency, bearer bonds, or precious bullion.
5. Prices, payment and Jetra Wallet
- Tariffs are calculated automatically based on distance, package weight, and speed tier (Standard vs Express).
- Payment options include instant Jetra Wallet deduction, card checkout, or verified bank transfer.
- Wallet balances are withdrawable upon KYC confirmation.
6. Membership plans
Subscription tiers (Basic, Business, Enterprise) renew on a 30-day monthly cycle. Benefits such as delivery fee discounts and free scheduled pickups remain active while the plan is valid.
7. Delivery
- Estimated delivery times reflect optimal traffic conditions across Abuja and regional corridors.
- Proof of Delivery (POD) is recorded via electronic receiver signature or photo checkpoint verification.
8. Loss, damage and claims
In the event of physical parcel damage or transit loss, claims must be formally submitted within 48 hours of expected delivery with order receipts and photo documentation.
9. Warehousing and inventory
Warehouse space allocation and fulfillment operations are governed by our commercial storage addendum.
10. Acceptable use
Users must not interfere with courier safety or misuse our automated dispatch infrastructure.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed and interpreted under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
